COVID-19 – UPDATED BUSINESS CONTINUATION PLAN

On Monday evening the UK Government took the unprecedented decision to introduce strict new measures to restrict the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Health and Safety of our employees and customers remains paramount in our planning. We have remained open but at a reduced capacity.

Sales Support –  As the Government’s announcement was made outside of business hours, our employee’s have been preparing the business for shut-down. Our showroom remains open at present, but this may change at short notice. Our staff are following guidelines regarding face-to-face interactions; Ensuring a distance of 2 meters between customers and the shop assistant and only letting people enter the shop in small groups. Distance keeping measures are in force by the till – please adhere to them.

Service Support – We have taken the decision to suspend machine servicing. We are endeavoring to get customer’s machines delivered back before a closure. Those machines undergoing repairs may be subject to delay in their return due to a closure.

Parts Support – Our customers include those classified as key workers such as councils, fire service and food producers. We will endeavor to support their needs for as long as we can. Some of our suppliers are operating at a reduced capacity which, in turn, will affect the availability of some parts and their delivery.
